Hello everyone, I hope a good weekend was had by all. Welcome to our new blogger Just Jax, great first blog.

I had the whole weekend off this weekend, and decided that it was about time I caught up with my best friend who has moved out of London for the fresher air further down the Kent Coast. It was therefore decided that we should meet at Bluewater, have breakfast and do some shopping.

Now normally the mere mention of Bluewater makes me come out in a rash (especially as I had already had one unsuccessful trip there last week already), but as it meant catching up with my great friend I thought I could put up with it.

Well I must say, the whole day was a jolly nice experience. Before she arrived I managed to get two presents so I was in a good mood by the time she turned up. We then had breakfast, and although the poor chap was rushed off his feet behind the counter, he still managed to be cheerful and also made sure our food was delivered to our table (and he made great coffee). So with our stomachs full, we progressed to shopping and we were on fire. There were some great bargains to be had out there and this little fairy managed to do most of her Christmas Shopping, including getting the current Mr Bell all his presents. It was such a pleasure, each shop we went in to seemed to have their most pleasant staff on duty, I must say every shop assistant we came into contact was most polite and just so helpful. Even other shoppers seemed to be in a good mood, when we stopped for a coffee (surrounded by about 30 shopping bags) other shoppers smiled knowingly and stopped for a chat.

I don’t know if it was the sunshine that brought out this pleasantness in everyone but to me it was just such a nice change. Even my later trip to the supermarket was filled with happy people.

This even carried on into Sunday, I had to pick up some friends from the airport and even at some godforsaken time in the morning, at the barrier I got chatting to some other people also waiting for people to come through, and it just made me feel so much better.

We so often read and hear about bad experiences so I thought I just had to share with you all my very pleasant weekend, especially when all we seem to be hearing is doom and gloom.

It would be nice to hear if any of you picked up on this general good mood that seemed to be about this weekend.

Tinks X O and for the Strictly fans, personally I think it was right that Jessie went, and I cant wait till next week and see the boys and the girls together, I think that will put the cat amongst the pigeons. Can I just say the Boy’s group dance also had that feel good factor!
