WRITTEN and directed by Jake Paltrow, his debut film stars his sister Gwyneth alongside Penélope Cruz, Danny DeVito, Simon Pegg and Martin Freeman.
It follows former pop star Gary in his search for perfection amid a midlife crisis.
Propelled into a life of dissatisfaction seven years after his band folded, he is making a living composing jingles for adverts and is in a failing relationship with Dora.
The only thing Gary looks forward to is sleeping so he might have a reoccurring dream about a beautiful mystery woman he calls Anna, even taking dream workshops in the hope of prolonging his dreams.
But as he becomes obsessed with escaping into his subconscious, his real life starts to fall apart.
While this film does produce some laughs it also has some dark undertones.
