A heartbroken dad has said he is “living in a nightmare” as he searches for his missing daughter who disappeared from Lewisham more than two weeks ago.
Lily-Anne Hook, 19, a grade A-student, vanished from her SE14 home on November 15 and is known to have links to Croydon and Peckham.
Her dad, Mark Hook, spent the weekend “wondering around Peckham,” putting up posters and spreading the word, doing everything he can to find her.
Mark told The Independent: “I’m crying at the moment I can’t lie. It’s been a living nightmare. Someone somewhere knows where my daughter is. It’s her birthday on December 21 and I have to be with her then.”
It is believed Lily-Anne may be in the Peckham area, and officers have also stated she is known to frequent Croydon and other parts of south east London.
Mark last spoke with his daughter on November 15, when she didn’t reveal where she was going, according to The Independent.
“It’s very out of character for her. The longest time without speaking to me or her mum is about three days,” he explained.
Lily-Anne is of slim build, with long, wavy brown hair and nose piercings on both sides.
“She is amazing. The brightest, funniest girl I have ever met. She is a grade-A student,” Mark added.
“She is only small, about 5ft 1ins, but she is a force to be reckoned with, that’s for sure.”
Despite the distance between them—Mark now lives in Shropshire, while her mother resides in Leicester— Mark insists there are no issues at home. “She is just a strong-willed girl,” he said.
Addressing Lilyanne directly, he said to The Independent: “We all love you and please come home for Christmas.”
Mark added: “I don’t feel tired, I just need to be strong in case my little baby needs me.”
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “We are still trying to find missing 19 year old Lily-Anne who has been missing from #SE14 since 15/11/24.
“She frequents Croydon and SE London.
“Any info or sightings please call 101/999 quoting 01/1112099/24.”
