Police have shared an update after the De Luci Fish roundabout was destroyed in a crash.
One side of the base of the fish statue at the roundabout has been broken apart, with debris laying all over the ground yesterday (December 2).
Images yesterday showed the front of the van dented in the crash.
The Metropolitan Police says that it was called to the scene, however there were no reported injuries.
No arrests were also made, despite the damage.
Technicians were called to the scene along with the statue’s artist Gary Drostle, to assess how badly it was impacted.
The road was temporarily closed so that the van could be removed, and this was reportedly for a short time.
As for now, there has been no indication about what will happen to the statue in the future.
