Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has been slammed for its prices as one visitor recently paid £6 for a hot chocolate. 

The annual Christmas attraction takes over the London park from November until the start of January, with thousands visiting each year.

Winter Wonderland sees endless rides and activities take over Hyde Park including ice skating and a giant Ferris wheel plenty of choices of food and drink dotted around.

However, some visitors to the London attraction were recently left surprised and feeling out of pocket when they discovered the price of Winter Wonderland.

Taking to TikTok, one user, angelina.pj shared how much they spent after spending just one day at Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland, totalling £89.05 altogether. 

Some of the more pricey items they spent money on included fun fair rides for £6 and a go at an arcade game for £10.

Plus, the TikTok creator also spent £6.10 for a potato stick, £7 for Japanese waffle balls, £5 for roasted chestnuts, a glass of mulled wine £6.10 and another £6 on a hot chocolate.

Reacting to how much angelin.pj spent in one day, one TikTok user said: "89 quid is insane" and one more said, "Everything is overpriced but it was a good experience."

As another said: "Prices are insane. Haven't been in years so definitely not be going anytime soon."

This person also commented: "Winter Wonderland is extortionate, I also do remember when it was free to go in."
