A leaking pipe continues to leave several homes without water or experiencing low pressure in Biggin Hill and nearby Kent areas.
Thames Water confirmed the leak occurred on Grays Road, affecting homes with postcodes TN14 and TN16.
The issue was first reported on Thursday, November 28, and Thames Water has worked overnight to carry out repairs.
“We are now finalising the repair before returning the pipe to service,” a Thames Water spokesperson said.
By using water tankers and rerouting supply, most customers have had their water restored.
However, some households are still affected as officials work to fully resolve the issue.
A bottled water station remains open at Waitrose on Main Road for those still experiencing water shortages or low pressure.
A spokesperson for Thames Water added: “During peak times and when tankers change over you may notice a drop in pressure or no water at times.
“We are doing everything we can to restore customer supplies however due to the complicated nature of the repair, this is taking us longer than normal.
“Throughout the day we will continue to deliver bottled water to some customers who require extra support.”
