The George Staples in Sidcup is embracing the Christmas season with a dazzling display of festive decorations.

General manager Ricky and his team are dedicated to making the George Staples a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky, who has been at the helm for four Christmas seasons, says his goal is to provide a space that combines great food, drinks, and entertainment in harmony.
Ricky told the News Shopper: “My mission was to make the pub a home for all and everyone.
“A site that can deliver food drink sports and late night together in Harmoney.
“I wanted us to be not just a pub on a crossroads.”
The pub’s outdoor seating area is equally festive.
String lights crisscross above the garden, casting a warm glow over the picnic benches.
Wreaths with red ribbons and baubles are hung on the fences, and lanterns placed on tables add to the cosy atmosphere.
Even the building’s windows feature frosted designs and festive decals, completing the Christmas look.
The pub, which has been part of the community since 1931, is inviting everyone to enjoy the season with its special festive menu.
Packed with seasonal dishes and warming winter drinks, the menu offers something for everyone looking to celebrate with family or friends.
Guests booking a table for six or more before 24 December will receive a £20 voucher to use in January.
It’s a gesture aimed at keeping the festive spirit alive after Christmas.
The pub also hosts weekly events such as quizzes, karaoke nights, live music, and club evenings.
