Residents across Biggin Hill and parts of Kent are facing water supply issues, with many experiencing no water or low pressure.
The problem was reported on Thames Water’s website at around 5pm today (November 28), with postcodes TN14 and TN16 among those affected.
Thames Water has confirmed the issue stems from water not flowing into the Betsoms Hill reservoir, which supplies homes in the area.
A team is currently searching for a leak in the network.
A Thames Water spokesperson said: “This is taking a long time due to the size and location of the pipework in very rural areas.
“We are going to be working around the clock to locate the problem and get it resolved as quickly as possible.
“We’ll keep you updated on our progress and what we’re doing to restore your water.”
In the meantime, a bottled water station has been set up at Waitrose on Main Road, Biggin Hill, to support affected residents.
An update on the situation is expected at 7pm.
