If it’s fun, liveliness, drinking, food and darts you want – with a hint of Christmas cheer – you’ve come to the right place.
Think sparkle, evergreen foliage, festoon lighting, soft blankets and private cabins.
Lively social darts bar Flights Club has opened its Winter Paradise roof terrace in its Victoria venue.
There are limited edition Christmas cocktails, including classics with a Christmas twist, and there’s also a festive bottomless brunch through December with songs, prosecco, pizza, darts and prizes for outrageous Christmas jumpers.
The magical spot opened on November 18 and was the perfect place for a fun-filled Christmas gathering with family and friends when I went last weekend.
My boyfriend and I went with each of our brothers and their girlfriends, and we were geared up the six of us to battle it out sibling-style over some darts.
games with different aims.
They had all been to a Flight Club bar before, but I hadn’t, and I loved that we got to choose to play differentSome to reach a designated number each, some to try and knock each other out the game, and others to compete on who can get the highest score.
The great part about it was that while we played, we could click one button and a waiter or waitress would come to take our drinks or food order so that we didn’t have to interrupt our play.
We took full advantage and ordered beers, gins and wines aplenty to our booth – getting merry as we tried to beat each other at darts.
All the competition made us work up an appetite, so we also ordered crisps, pizzas and mixes of chips to the game.
The food menu was really wide-ranging – from popcorn chicken, to pizza, burgers, chips and snack – pretty much catering to anyone and everyone to enjoy food while trying to beat their friends.
I won’t say how I came in our game, seeing as it was often towards the bottom of the leaderboard, but it’s about the taking part, right?!
Winning or losing, we had loads of fun and enjoyed drinking, eating, chatting and playing.
After our 1.5 hours worth of games, we headed to the winter terrace.
Seasonal tipples on offer included Sleigh My Margarita, a blend of Casamigos Blanco tequila with vibrant pomegranate and blackberry liqueur, spiced with cinnamon and fresh lime and Red Velvet Martini, a combination of Cîroc vodka with Chambord raspberry liqueur, Disaronno Velvet, grenadine and vanilla.
There were also some seasonal snacks on offer such as brie and cranberry sauce, pigs in blankets with honey mustard, pork belly bites with ginger and lime dressing, and an assortment of macrons.
It was the perfect festive setting which felt cosy, fun and all-round happy.
Book your friends’ social, couples date night, work do, hen or stag and get yourself down to Flight Club.
