A man has been arrested after the body of a female was discovered at an address in Woolwich.
Police were called to St Domingo House on Leda Road, Woolwich, on Tuesday, November 19, at around 12pm.
Officers attended after concerns were raised about someone’s safety.
When police arrived, they found the body of a female inside the flat.
A 49-year-old man was arrested but has since been released on bail.
The investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to reports of concern over a person’s safety at an address in Woolwich, south-east London at around at 12:03hrs on Tuesday, 19 November.
“Officers attended the scene at St Domingo House, Leda Road, SE18, where they found the body of female.
“A 49 year-old man has been arrested as part of the investigation and released on bail.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
