A fire broke out yesterday in a block of flats in Southwark causing four people to evacuate.
Fire crews arrived at the property on Thurlow Street at 12.05pm (November 22).
The blaze damaged a flat on the fourth floor of the ten-storey building.
Firefighters reported that part of the five-room flat was destroyed.
Four residents managed to leave the property before firefighters arrived.
Crews from Old Kent Road, Deptford, Whitechapel, Shadwell, and Soho fire stations worked together to bring the fire under control by 12.56pm.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
