A man has been arrested after fight which is believed to have involved a weapon in Plumstead.
Police were called to reports of a brawl in Kirkham Street just before 7.15pm yesterday (November 19).
At the scene a man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.
However he also had minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
He now remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “On Tuesday, 19 November police were called to Kirkham Street, SE18 at 19:13hrs following reports of a fight.
“Officers attended the scene and arrested a man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries, he now remains in custody.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are on-going, if you saw or have any information on the incident then please contact police on 101 stating CAD6316/19NOV.”
