A crash involving three vehicles on a busy Kent A-road has caused four miles of traffic.
The incident happened on the A2 near the junction for Gravesend and Wrotham at 4pm yesterday (November 19).
Officers attended the scene, and no injuries were reported.
One lane was closed while the Highways Agency worked to clear debris from the road.
The incident also caused severe delays on the M25, which was partially blocked.
Traffic queues built up due to the crash on the A2 coastbound near the A227 Wrotham Road, by Gravesend and Tollgate Services.
All closures have since been lifted and traffic has returned to normal.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at around 4pm to a report of a three-collision on the A2 near the junction for Gravesend and Wrotham.
"Officers attended and no injuries were reported.
"A lane closure was in place while the Highways Agency cleared debris from the road."
