Drivers in and around Dartford will have 16 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network in the coming weeks.

Three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

This latest expected works list from National Highways and includes details of why the closures are in place.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

Here is the full list of road closures in and around Dartford:

• A2, from 10pm August 19 to 5am November 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 westbound, Old Bexley Lane, 24 Hour 40mph speed limit for VRS works.

• A2, from 8pm October 28 to 6am October 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 westbound, Ebbsfleet, slip road closure for maintenance works.

• A2, from 10pm October 28 to 4am November 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 both directions M25, junction 2 to Bean, Lane closures for maintenance works.

• A282, from 10pm October 28 to 6am November 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 anticlockwise, junction 1A to M25 Anticlockwise, junction 31, West Tunnel closure for grillage works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• A2, from 10pm October 29 to 5am October 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 westbound, junction Dartford Heath to junction Bexley, Lane closure for horticultural works on TfL network.

• A2, from 10pm October 29 to 5am October 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 eastbound, junction Bexley to junction Dartford Heath, Lane closure for horticultural works on TfL network.

• A2, from 8pm October 30 to 6am October 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 eastbound, Ebbsfleet to Pepper Hill, Slip closure for maintenance works.

• A2, from 10pm October 30 to 5am October 31, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 westbound, junction 2 to junction Dartford Heath, carriageway closure for Pothurgentole Repairs, diversion via National Highways roads.

• A282, from 10pm November 2 to 5am November 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing West Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A282, from 10pm November 3 to 5am November 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A282, from 10pm November 4 to 5.30am November 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 northbound, West Tunnel closure, carriageway and slip road closure for tunnel works, diversion via National Highways roads.
