An Orpington restaurant has won an award naming it the best restaurant in the south east of England.
The Bombay, based in High Street, Green Street, won the award as part of the seventeenth annual Bangladesh Caterers Award (BCA).
The awards were held at the Intercontinental Hotel London at the O2 in Greenwich on Monday (October 28).
This win marks the second award for the Bombay this year.
It also won the first National Editor’s Award at the Curry Life.
Oli Khan, MBE, president of BCA said: “ The Bombay restaurant in Orpington is an excellent restaurant and we were delighted to have given the award to The Bombay for the best restaurant.”
MJ, of The Bombay, said: “We have been working extremely hard to ensure we give the best service and high quality food to our customers.
“Our customers have been our biggest support and without them we could not have won this award.
“Thank you to all of our customers. I would also like to thank my team who has been working very hard to ensure we keep consistency of high standards everyday.”
