A man has died after falling from a height in Southwark.
The incident happened in Southwark Street just before 8am today (October 29).
Police, London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance and the London Fire Brigade attended.
The man was found injured, however, he was pronounced dead at around 8.30am.
His death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 8.02hrs on Tuesday, 29 October to reports of a man who had fallen from height in Southwark Street, SE1.
“Officers, the London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance and the London Fire Brigade attended.
“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the man was sadly pronounced dead at 08.27hrs.
“His next-of-kin has been informed.
“His death is being treated as unexpected, but not suspicious.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
