The UK's best Sunday roast dinners have recently been named and three London spots made the list.

Created by the women's lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos, the list is meant to serve as inspiration for when you don't fancy cooking a roast dinner yourself.

They wrote: "Ditch the pans and let these brilliant restaurants and gastropubs from across the Muddy counties, do what they do best."

London saw three well-rated Sunday roast dinner spots named, including a pub owned by a big celebrity.

You can see the full list via the Muddy Stilettos website here.

The best three spots for a Sunday roast dinner in London

Three three spots named were Fox & Pheasant, Fulham, Boundary, Shoreditch and The Laundry, Brixton.

Fox & Pheasant in Fulham

Fox & Pheasant in Fulham is famously owned by 'Your Beautiful' singer James Blunt and is described to be a place where "cosy country meets city chic".

Available all day on Sundays, the Fox & Pheasant rast dinner offers a range of meats including roast beef sirloin, roast pork bell, spatchcock chicken and more including Vegetarian and Vegan options.

Each roast is served with a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, parsnip purée, crushed carrots and swede, green beans and gravy.

On the online review site Tripadvisor, one guest said: "One of the best Sunday lunches ever. Totally charming small pub, with real fires, charming. Had the chicken for two accompanied by excellent roast potatoes, as good as my own cooked at home. A superb celeriac purée, delicious stuffing."

The Boundary in Shoreditch

The Boundary in Shoreditch is famous for its roof terrace which is often a go-to destination in the warmer months for some after-work drinks.

Despite being in a luxury hotel with lots to offer, Muddy Stilettos shares that the Sunday roasts are the most luxurious aspect of the hotel.

The outlet shares: "Can’t make up your mind between the classics (think roast beef, chicken, pork belly or veggie)? Then order the mega Mixed Roast and get a selection of each, with sides of duck-fat roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire puddings."

Plus, the Boundary also offers starters like the Maldon rock oyster or a charcuterie board.

One guest said: "We had a wonderful family visit to this restaurant for our daughter’s birthday. The food was amazing (Sunday roast is incredible) and the service was fantastic."

The Laundry in Brixton

Last but not least was The Laundry in Brixton, an award-winning restaurant that claims to be the best Sunday roast in South London.

Describing the meal, Muddy Stilettos, shares: "Start with the burrata, fig and parma ham with pomegranate, then loosen your belt and move on to the main event: 28-day aged Hereford sirloin with creamed horseradish and Yorkshire pudding, rolled roast pork belly with apple sauce, yorkies and crackling or roast squash and sage tart, miso caramel chestnuts and chilli samba, all served with squash, roast potatoes, glazed carrots, minted peas and gravy."
