A 13-year-old girl has been charged after a Poundstretcher employee was allegedly racially abused and spat at.
The girl, who cannot be named due to her age, was charged following an incident at the Bexleyheath Broadway store on the evening of June 25.
It is alleged that she assaulted an employee by spitting at him and that she used threatening/abusive words or behaviour.
It is also alleged that both offences were racially aggravated.
The young girl is also charged with criminal damage after she allegedly smashed the glass door of the shop.
She is due to appear at Bexley Magistrates’ Court.
