A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash in Southwark.
The incident between a vehicle and a pedestrian happened in Old Kent Road near Peckham Park Road at around 4.30pm yesterday (October 23).
Police, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a pedestrian, a man in his 20s, injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as non-life threatening.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of drink drive, and he remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 16:31hrs on Wednesday, 23 October to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Old Kent Road near to Peckham Park Road, SE15.
“Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all attended. The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital.
“His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
“One man was arrested on suspicion of drink drive. He remains in custody.”
