The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Tuesday, October 22, 2024:
ARTURO PRADE-ORTIZ, 59, of Lime Kiln Drive in Charlton, admitted causing criminal damage to a prisoner van and a public order offence when he made homophobic comments at Lewisham Hospital on August 5. Prade-Ortiz was fined £80 and told to pay £200 compensation.
RIYADH SYED AKROM, 21, of Blackwall Way in Tower Hamlets, admitted driving whilst disqualified, failing to comply with red traffic lights and possessing cannabis. Akrom was given a 12-week sentence suspended for one year. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
LEWIS COCKS, 33, of Gardiner Close in Orpington, admitted two counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order by deleting his internet history on his phone and failing to inform his offender manage of intimate relationships. Cocks was given a 26-week sentence suspended for two years.
DAMIEN WOODBRIDGE, 45, of Monson Road in New Cross, admitted stealing thousands of pounds worth of products from Boots in Greenwich. Woodbridge was given a six-month sentence suspended for one year.
