A police operation on Woolwich High Street led to multiple arrests and the seizure of a large quantity of cannabis.
Officers conducted a knife arch and plain-clothed patrols in the area on Thursday (October 17).
Officers used CCTV to locate a male who had breached bail conditions, leading to his arrest.
Another male was also arrested on suspicion of racially abusing an officer.
Later in the day, police spotted suspicious activity at Parry Place, SE18.
A series of stop-and-searches resulted in the arrest of a male on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis, with a significant quantity of the drug seized.
Investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Greenwich MPS said: “On 17/10/24, officers conducted a knife arch and plain-clothed operation in Woolwich High Street.
“CCTV helped locate a male who breached bail, leading to his arrest.
“Another male was also arrested for racially abusing an officer.
“Later, officers spotted suspicious activity at Parry Place SE18.
"Stop-and-searches resulted in one arrest for possession with intent to supply cannabis, and a large quantity of cannabis was seized.”
