A road is set to be temporarily closed for the Hayes Christmas lights switch-on.
Hayes Station Approach, from its junction with Bourne Way to the entrance of the car park on Station Approach, will be closed to through traffic on Saturday, November 23.
The closure will be in place from 2pm to 6.30pm.
The closure is to facilitate the Hayes Christmas Lights Switch-On Event.
Traffic signs will indicate the closures, which will be enforced as per the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The order for the road closure will come into effect at 2pm and is expected to end at 6.30pm the same day.
However, the order does not prevent pedestrian access to any premises situated on or near the closed road.
The council also assures that access to properties will be maintained as much as possible from both sides of the closure.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
