Adventure seekers are in for a treat as a new bright and fun climbing centre is set to open at The O2 in Greenwich.
Clip ‘n Climb is set to open at The O2 on October 20 and will be stationed across from Mamma Mia The Party.
The new attraction will feature 20 colourful climbing challenges, including the heart-pounding 10m vertical drop slide (which there are only two of in the UK) and the "Stairway to Heaven” climb.
There is also a 12m high traditional climbing wall offering six lines and 12 routes, the space hopes to cater to both experienced climbers and beginners alike. Special Educational Needs Special sessions, such as adult-only climbs and "mini mountaineer" sessions for toddlers, ensure fun for all ages.
The venue also plans to host SEN sessions to try and be as inclusive as possible.
Located adjacent to Mamma Mia! The Party, this new 3,731 square foot venue joins The O2’s impressive lineup of leisure attractions.
The addition of Clip ‘n Climb marks another milestone in The O2’s growth as a premier entertainment destination, offering a diverse array of activities, including Up at The O2, TOCA Social, and Boom Battle Bar.
Janine Constantin-Russell, Managing Director of the Entertainment District and Outlet Shopping at The O2, said: “We have built an impressive leisure offering at The O2 over the last few years, but being fully let does not mean that this curation and innovation has to come to an end.
“Our visitors are always at the forefront of everything we do, and therefore it is key that we continue to deliver choice and memorable experiences that set us apart from other destinations.
“Clip ‘n Climb is a fantastic and complementary addition to our space, and its accessible and family-focused appeal elevates The O2’s leisure offering even further, reinforcing our position as the go-to choice for families.”
Mike Dawe, Managing Director at Clip ‘n Climb, added: “The O2 is a renowned entertainment destination within the UK, and we are excited to be a part of this thriving scheme, adding to the already impressive portfolio of prime leisure operators.
“The O2’s innovative approach to our new space matches our ethos; to deliver fun, safe, memorable experiences to customers of all ages and abilities.”
