Bexleyheath will be kicking off the holiday season with its annual Christmas light switch-on event, which will feature a visit from Father Christmas.
The festivities begin at 11am near the Bexleyheath Clock Tower and will run until 5.15pm on November 16.
Santa Claus will make a grand appearance, with further entertainment provided by special guests from Made In Kent Radio.
There will be a variety of family-friendly entertainment, including live music performances, local choirs, and dance groups.
Strongman and DJ Martin Cee will host the event, hoping to keep the crowd engaged throughout the day.
The highlight of the event will be the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree, which promises to be truly memorable for all attendees.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to dress warmly and join in the fun as the town centre comes alive with festive spirit.
This event is organised by Bexleyheath BID, a business-led organisation established in 2011 by local businesses as a Business Improvement District.
The BID aims to enhance the local trading environment by bringing together like-minded business people to positively impact the community.
