The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Monday, October 14, 2024:
KRISHNA NEPALI, 36, of Plumstead Common Road in Plumstead, admitted two counts of theft from a shop, stealing nine bottles of wine from Co-op on Friday and Saturday (October 11 and 12). Nepali was given a conditional discharge.
SAIF ALI, 27, of no fixed abode, admitted possessing a serrated edge machete in a private place and assaulting a police officer by spitting blood at them. Ali was jailed for 24 weeks.
JONATHAN CHITTENDEN, 45, of Elmcroft Road in Orpington, admitted drink driving on September 11. Chittenden was disqualified from driving for three years and fined £80.
NIMAR SAADAT, 30, of The Mound in Eltham, admitted sexually assaulting a female by touching in Woolwich on January 13. Saadat was told to pay £150 compensation and detention was deemed served by time already spent in custody.
