Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains from Monday, October 21 through to Friday, October 25.

We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

Buses replace trains between Plumstead and Dartford via Slade Green / Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath (Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20)

Engineering work is taking place between Plumstead and Slade Green, and between Blackheath and Slade Green via Bexleyheath, closing some lines.

Southeastern:

Additionally on Sunday, London Cannon Street will be closed all day.

Saturday

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will only run between London Cannon Street and Plumstead.

Trains between London Cannon Street and Dartford via Lewisham and Woolwich will not run.

Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will not run.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath will not run.

Trains between London Victoria and Gravesend via Bexleyheath will be diverted and will only run between London Victoria and Plumstead.

Sunday

London Cannon Street will be closed all day.

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will only run between London Bridge and Plumstead.

Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will not run.

Trains between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath will be diverted and will only run between London Victoria and Plumstead.

Accessible buses will run between:

  • Plumstead and Slade Green calling at all stations.
  • Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath calling at all stations (Saturday).
  • New Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath calling at all stations (Sunday).

Ticket acceptance:

On Sunday, passengers can use London Underground between Cannon Street and Charing Cross, Waterloo, Southwark & London Bridge at no extra cost.

Passengers can use your tickets on Southeastern trains between London Bridge and Plumstead, and on Southeastern buses between Plumstead and Dartford.

Thameslink:

Thameslink services will not run between London Bridge and Dartford.

An amended service will run between Dartford and Rainham.

Buses replace trains via Bromley South (Sunday, October 20)

Engineering work is taking place in the Bromley South area, closing all lines through the station.

Southeastern:

Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will only run between London Victoria and Beckenham Junction.

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Chatham will be retimed and diverted to run non stop between London Victoria / Denmark Hill and St Mary Cray / Swanley.

If passengers are travelling to or from Bromley South they will need to use the Thameslink services between Swanley and Bromley South to connect with these diverted trains.

Maidstone East line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will be retimed and diverted to run non stop between London Victoria and St Mary Cray.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

  • Beckenham Junction and Orpington.
  • Bromley South and Swanley (provided by Thameslink

Thameslink:

Thameslink services to / from Sevenoaks will be amended to run between Swanley and Sevenoaks only.

Replacement buses will run between Herne Hill and Swanley via Catford. These buses will not call at Nunhead or Ravensbourne.

For these stations, you can use London Bus routes P12 (for Nunhead) and 354 (for Ravensbourne).

Passengers can also use your tickets on Southeastern services between Beckenham Junction and London Victoria, and on London Underground services between Victoria and Blackfriars.
