A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with a head injury following a fight in Thamesmead.
The incident took place on Hartslock Drive in Thamesmead today (October 13) at around 12:20pm.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended the scene along with ambulance crews.
An air ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with a head injury where his injuries were later established to be not life-threatening or life-changing.
No arrests have yet been made and enquiries into the incident continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 12:20hrs on Sunday, 13 October to reports of a fight in Hartslock Drive, SE2.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
“A man, believed aged in his 20s, was found suffering a cut and a head injury. He was taken to hospital for treatment – his injuries are not life threatening or life changing.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD3087/13Oct. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
