Planned appointments at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford have been postponed after a power cut.
In a statement on Facebook, the hospital confirmed that it experienced a power outage earlier this morning (October 11).
Although most of the power has now been restored, it will still have an impact throughout the day, the spokesperson added.
As a result, some appointments are being postponed and the hospital said it will contact patients at the “earliest opportunity” to re-arrange.
The full statement from the hospital says: “All our patients are safe. Planned appointments are currently postponed and we will contact you at the earliest opportunity to re-arrange.
“Please call 111 to be directed to the appropriate alternative service. Please call 999 in an emergency.
“For all other patients, please do not come to the hospital unless you are asked.
“The situation is dynamic and it may change. We will update through our website and social media channels.”
