A primary school in Biggin Hill has been evacuated due to bomb threat.
Police were called at 11.30am yesterday (Thursday, October 10) to Oaklands Primary School, based in Oaklands Lane.
As the school was evacuated, police searched the building and did not find anything suspicious.
The incident is being treated as “malicious communication”.
We understand the school has since reopened and have contacted them for a comment.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “At 11:30hrs on Thursday, 10 October, police were contacted by staff at a school in Oaklands Lane, Westerham after they had received a bomb threat.
“The school was evacuated while officers carried out a search of the building.
“Nothing suspicious was found.
“The incident is being treated as a malicious communication.”
