Three teenage boys have been arrested after a 15-year-old was stabbed in Surrey Quays last month.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Quebec Way where they found a 15-year-old boy suffering knife injuries.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not life-threatening.

The incident happened at 9.16pm on Tuesday, September 3.

Three 16-year-old boys were arrested between Wednesday, September 11 to Friday, September 13 on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

They were taken to south London police stations and have been bailed pending further enquiries.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Anyone with information are asked to call police on 101 quoting the reference CAD 7448/03SEP.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at 9.16pm on Tuesday, September 3 to reports of a stabbing in Quebec Way, SE16.

"Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a 15-year-old boy suffering knife injuries.

"He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not life-threatening.

"Three boys, all aged 16, were all arrested between 11 - 13 September on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

"They were taken to south London police stations and were bailed pending further enquiries.

"The investigation is ongoing.
