The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Wednesday, October 2, 2024:
DARREN SMITH, 36, of North Star Boulevard in Greenhithe, admitted assaulting a woman occasioning actual bodily harm in Bexley on New Year’s Eve. Smith was given a five month sentence suspended for 18 months. He will be required to complete 40 days of rehabilitation activity and 150 hours of unpaid work.
A 13-YEAR-OLD BOY from Greenwich admitted possessing a knife in public in Woolwich on May 31. He was sentenced to a youth offender panel.
KIRSTI SIMPSON, 29, of Pagnell Street in Deptford, admitted nine counts of theft from Boots, Waterstones and Co-op. Simpson was remanded in custody until sentencing.
CHRISTOPHER MCCULLOCH MARTIN, 48, of Saltwood Close in Orpington, admitted breaching a sexual harm prevention order by failing to notify police of a new electronic device. Martin was given a one-year community order including 150 hours of unpaid work.
