Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.
The work will affect trains on both October 5 and October 6.
We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.
Buses replace trains between Lewisham and Sidcup (Saturday, October 5)
Engineering work is taking place between Lewisham and Sidcup, closing all lines.
Accessible replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Sidcup.
Sidcup Line: Trains which usually run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will not run.
Trains which usually run between London Charing Cross and Gravesend via Sidcup will only run between Sidcup and Gravesend.
Buses replace trains between Rochester and Rainham (Sunday, October 6)
Engineering work is taking place between Rochester and Rainham, closing all lines.
Southeastern:
Accessible replacement buses will run between Strood and Rainham, calling at all stations.
Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Chatham will only run between London Victoria and Rochester.
Additional trains will run between Rainham and Ramsgate / Dover Priory.
Highspeed services via Gravesend: Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Faversham will only run between London St Pancras International and Rochester.
Sheerness line: Trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea will be retimed
Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Strood via Bexleyheath.
Thameslink:
No Thameslink services will run between Gravesend and Rainham.
Passengers can use Southeastern trains between Gravesend and Rochester, and Southeastern replacement buses between Strood and Rainham.
Buses replace trains between Ashford International and Dover Priory (Sunday, October 6)
Engineering work is taking place between Ashford International and Dover Priory, closing all lines.
Accessible buses will run between:
- Ashford International and Dover Priory, calling at Folkestone West and Folkestone Central only.
- Ashford International and Dover Priory, calling at all stations except Westenhanger.
- Sandling and Westenhanger - minibus service.
Highspeed via Ashford: Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover Priory will only run between London St Pancras International and Ashford International.
Additional trains will run between Dover Priory and Ramsgate.
Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Dover Priory via Tonbridge will only run between London Victoria and Ashford International.
These trains will run to / from London Victoria because of further engineering work.
Buses replace trains between Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup / Orpington (Sunday, October 6)
Engineering work is taking place between Lewisham and Dartford / Orpington, closing all lines.
Accessible replacement buses will run between:
- Lewisham and Orpington.
- Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup.
Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Tonbridge will be diverted to run to / from London Victoria.
Trains between London Victoria and Dover Priory via Tonbridge will only run between London Victoria and Ashford International because of further engineering work.
Hastings Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be retimed and diverted by an alternative route between London Bridge and Orpington.
Grove Park Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will not run.
Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will be extended to run to / from Sevenoaks.
Sidcup Line: Trains which usually only run between London Charing Cross and Dartford will not run. Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend will be diverted to run via Bexleyheath.
These trains are extended to run to / from Strood because of further engineering work.
Passengers can use the following alternative services at no extra cost:
London Underground between Victoria, Charing Cross, Embankment, Waterloo, Southwark and London Bridge.
