A2 maintenance is scheduled for this week, potentially causing delays and diversions for drivers.

These closures are part of a planned maintenance effort to improve road safety and infrastructure. Drivers should be aware that diversions and delays might occur due to these necessary works.

National Highways, which manages motorways and major A-roads, does not oversee smaller road shutdowns.

The A2, an essential route connecting Dover to London, spans 72 miles from Borough to Dover Docks.

There are no closures scheduled for Saturday, October 5 or Tuesday, October 1.

Drivers are advised to plan ahead and check for updates on alternative routes during these closures.
