The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Friday, September 27, 2024:
AARON BRETT, 35, of Petts Wood Road in Orpington, admitted threatening a man with an offensive weapon, a public order offence and common assault of a police officer on August 29. The court heard he threatened a man with a hammer. Brett was given six month sentence suspended for two years including 80 hours of unpaid work.
A 16-YEAR-OLD BOY from Eltham admitted possessing cannabis and a machete in Eltham on August 1. He was given a one year conditional discharge.
A 16-YEAR-OLD GIRL from Erith admitted assaulting a female in Bexley on January 30. She was ordered to pay £100 compensation and to attend a youth offender panel.
PAUL WEBB, 29, of Chorleywood Crescent in Orpington, admitted stealing meat from Co-op in Orpington on March 22. Webb received further punishment as he is a serving prisoner.
JAMES GIBBS, 44, of Farmfield Road in Grove Park, admitted drug driving on July 26. Gibbs was disqualified from driving for one year.
