The Duke of Greenwich has launched its new menu offering a tempting array of Sunday roasts perfect for the colder season in a cosy and friendly local pub.

Located just off Trafalgar Road, The Duke of Greenwich aims to blend exceptional food with a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Guests can enjoy their meals by the cosy fire, at the bar, or in the spacious garden.

The pub also partners with local breweries such as Brew by Numbers and Villages Brewery, offering a rotating selection of craft beers to pair perfectly with the meal.

The new Sunday menu, created by chefs Jon Kaye, Dan Blucert, and Nick Blucert, promises to bring a fresh take on the traditional Sunday roast.

The Duke of Greenwich chef’s say that they use quality ingredients and supporting local producers, the trio has crafted a menu that blends inventive flavours with classic favourites.

Here’s a look at the new Sunday roast options:

• 28-Day Aged Beef Rump, Yorkshire Pudding – Tender, juicy beef with a perfectly crisp Yorkshire pudding (£24).

• Crispy Suffolk Pork Loin, Braised Red Onions, Apple Sauce – Pork cooked to perfection with a burst of sweetness (£23).

Each roast is accompanied by an array of family-style sides designed for sharing, including beef fat roast potatoes, sweet potato mash, rainbow chard, roasted carrots with fennel seeds, kale, savoy cabbage, and rich homemade gravy.

Dan Blucert, co-owner and chef director, expressed his excitement about the new offering, stating, “There’s something special about gathering with loved ones over a roast, and we’ve pulled out all the stops to make it an unforgettable dining experience here at The Duke.”
