A man and woman have been charged after reports of an armed robbery at a post office.
Just after 8.30am on March 22 armed police rushed to Morrisons Daily on Windsor Drive, Chelsfield, to reports of an armed robbery.
No arrests were made at the scene but a Met Police investigation has now led to two people being charged.
Sarah Selby, 37, of Lower Road in Orpington, and Karl Kaynar, 41, of no fixed abode, are each charged with conspiracy to commit robbery on Morrisons Daily and the post office inside the store.
They are also each charged with possessing an imitation hand gun.
Kaynar is additionally charged with robbery, as it is alleged he robbed the post office of money.
Selby appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (September 26) and her case was sent to Croydon Crown Court for a plea hearing.
Kaynar was expected to appear at the magistrates' court alongside Selby but his case was adjourned due to unexpected circumstances.
