The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Monday and Tuesday, September 23 and 24, 2024:
KATRINA BALINGIT, 50, of Queensway Mews in Lewisham, admitted stealing from Claire’s, Card Factory, Smiggle, H&M and Clintons in Bromley, and possessing an offensive weapon – a baton. Balingit was given an 18-month community order including drug rehabilitation treatment.
REECE GRIFFITHS, 31, of Oakfield Road in Penge, admitted drug driving in Penge on March 23. Griffiths was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £120.
TYLER MEHAFFY, 20, of Park View Road in Welling, admitted dangerous driving in Eltham on July 3. Mehaffy was given a four-week sentence suspended for 18 months. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and he must pass an extended retest.
CLAYTON SILK, 42, of Ancona Road in Plumstead, admitted public order offences (using threatening/abusive/insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence) against two women on October 16. Silk was jailed for 26 weeks.
