A woman has been arrested after a man was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Bromley.

Police were called to reports of a man hurt following a crash involving a car in Winlaton Road at 7.15am yesterday (September 23)

Officers, along with London Ambulance Service, attended the scene.

Ambulance crews, including a paramedic in a fast-response car and an advanced paramedic, provided treatment before taking the man to the hospital.

His condition is not life-threatening.

The car involved allegedly failed to stop at the scene but was found shortly after the incident.

A woman was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

She remains in custody as investigations continue.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 7.15am on Monday, 23 September to reports of a man injured following a collision with a car in Winlaton Road, Bromley.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life threatening.

“The car did not stop at the scene but was located a short time later.

“A woman was arrested on suspicion of GBH and failing to stop at the scene of a collision – she remains in custody.

“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7.17am on Monday 23 September to reports of an incident on Winlaton Road, Bromley.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an advanced paramedic.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”
