A person has died after being hit by a train at Thornton Heath station.
A casualty on the tracks was reported at the station in Brigstock Road just before 8.20pm yesterday (September 20).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
The person was pronounced dead shortly after.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
All lines between Streatham and Selhurst were closed as the incident was dealt with but it has since reopened.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Thornton Heath railway station at around 8.21pm yesterday (19 September) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
