A suspect has been charged after they were alleged to have been connected to a gun through DNA evidence.
On Tuesday, September 17, police executed a firearms warrant in Thamesmead, resulting in the arrest of a suspect.
During the search, officers say they uncovered 3kg of cocaine, amphetamines, tasers, and £70,000 in cash.
The suspect has been charged with firearms and drug offences.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “On Tuesday September 17, MPS Proactive Investigations (SE BCU) & Kent Police executed a firearms warrant in Thamesmead.
“A suspect was arrested for possession of firearms linked to their DNA.
“A search revealed 3kg of cocaine, amphetamine, tasers, and £70k cash.
“The suspect was charged with firearms, drug offenses, and more.
“A successful joint operation between MPS (Op Bunting) & Kent Police (Op Neon).”
