Police have launched an investigation following reports of a serious sexual assault on a man in Catford.
Officers were called to Rushey Green at 3.50am on Wednesday, September 18, where a man reported being the victim of the attack.
There has been no arrest at this stage and investigations into the circumstances continue.
During the incident, a police cordon was in place outside a row of shops in Catford.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 03:50hrs on Wednesday, 18 September to Rushey Green, SE6.
“On arrival, a man reported to police that he had been the victim of a serious sexual assault.
“There has been no arrest in relation to this investigation and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“A crime scene remains in place at the location.”
