A recently released prisoner stole nearly £3,000 worth of goods from Boots in Greenwich.
Serial shoplifter John Harris, aka John Harris Bolton, was jailed for 37 weeks in April after he pleaded guilty to 39 thefts from the same BP Store in Greenwich.
As part of that sentence he was also banned from entering any BP store in south east London.
However, soon after being released from prison the 38-year-old was back to his old way but changed his target.
Between August 11 and September 13 he stole £2,837 worth of products from Boots in Greenwich.
On one raid he made off with £997 worth of skin and haircare products while another time he took £100 worth of baby milk.
Harris appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (September 18) and pleaded guilty to 8 charges of theft from a shop.
He was jailed for 16 weeks.
Harris' previous prison sentence came after he stole more than £6,000 of goods from a Greenwich BP store.
He repeatedly targeted the shop over six months, taking meat, alcohol, and other products.
He was first arrested on February 4 and despite his initial charge and bail, he continued to steal.
