Travelling on the London Underground is normally very easy with little delays and quick services.
However, recently one popular line has been facing more delays than others as the Central Line struggles to stay on time.
Often one of the busiest tubes due to its connections to central London and many popular tourist attractions, the Central Line is one of the key services on the Underground.
Many Londoners and commuters hoped that the delays to the Central line would soon be over, but Transport for London (TfL) has given an update that might disappoint many optimists.

Central Line will have delays until December - TfL
The Central Line has been the victim of many delays since January while the line gets a £500 million upgrade.
In February, the line had an 'emergency' timetable in place by TfL to help with its delays.
The TfL has now shared that the Central Line will likely face delays until December, according to the Standard.
TfL added that in December, a new timetable will launch allowing for improved services on the Central line.
The updates to the London Underground line will mean newly refurbished trains and an updated program, called the Central Line Improvement Programme (CLIP).

CLIP will see certain trains taken out of service so they can be refurbished and have a software update.
TfL commissioner Andy Lord spoke to the Standard sharing: "I’m looking forward to an improved timetable before the end of the year, and then more refurbished trains coming into service during 2025.
‘The good news is that the second train will be entering service shortly… it will take us a couple of years to do the whole fleet."
