Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend due to planned engineering work.
The work will affect trains on September 14 and September 15.
We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this weekend.
No services via Denmark Hill / Catford (Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15)
Engineering work is taking place in the Brixton area and also between Nunhead and Ravensbourne, closing all lines via Denmark Hill.
Southeastern:
Bexleyheath Line:
Train services between London Victoria and Dartford / Gravesend via Bexleyheath will not run.
Additional train services will run between London Cannon Street and Dartford / Gravesend via Bexleyeheath.
Sole Street Line:
Train services between London Victoria and Gillingham via Denmark Hill will run between London Victoria and Bromley South without stopping.
On Sunday, Dover Priory services will run only between London Victoria and Gillingham because of additional engineering work.
Ticket acceptance:
Passengers can use the following services at no additional cost:
- Thameslink replacement buses between Herne Hill and Bromley South via Denmark Hill and Catford.
- London Underground services betwen London Victoria, London Charing Cross, London Bridge, Southwark and London Waterloo.
- London Buses routes P12, 78 and 484 between Denmark Hill and Lewisham.
Thameslink:
Replacement buses will run between Herne Hill and Bromley South, calling at all stations via Catford except for Nunhead and Ravensbourne.
These buses will call additionally at Beckenham Junction.
For Nunhead / Ravensbourne, you can use paper tickets on London Bus routes P12 (for Nunhead) and 354 (for Ravensbourne).
Thameslink services to / from Sevenoaks / Orpington will run to an amended timetable, and will divert via Kent House.
Buses replace trains between Lewisham and Sidcup / Dartford (Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15)
Engineering work is taking place between Hither Green and Sidcup, closing all lines.
Saturday
Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will not run. Train services will instead run between Sidcup and Gravesend only.
Replacement bus services will run between Lewisham and Sidcup.
Sunday
Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will not run. Train services will instead run via Bexleyheath.
Trains running between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will not stop at Lewisham.
Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Dartford.
No trains via Rainham / Sittingbourne (Sunday, September 15)
Engineering work is taking place between Gillingham and Faversham all day, closing all lines.
Southeastern:
The following services are affected:
- Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate via Chatham will start / terminate at Gillingham.
- Trains between London Victoria and Dover Priory will start / terminate at Gillingham and will not call at Denmark Hill.
- Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Faversham will start / terminate at Gillingham.
- Trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea will not run.
Additional trains will run between Faversham and Ramsgate, and between Faversham and Dover Priory.
Accessible replacement buses will run between:
- Gillingham and Faversham, calling at all stations except Teynham.
- Gillingham and Faversham, calling at Rainham and Sittingbourne.
- Sittingbourne and Faversham via Teynham (minibus).
- Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea.
Thameslink:
No trains will run between Gillingham and Rainham.
Passengers can use their tickets on Southeastern replacement buses between Gillingham and Rainham.
Buses replace trains between Borough Green & Wrotham and Ashford International via Maidstone East (Sunday, September 15)
Engineering work is taking place Borough Green & Wrotham and Ashford International, closing some lines.
As a result, trains between London Victoria and Ashford International will start / terminate at Borough Green & Wrotham.
Replacement buses will run between Borough Green & Wrotham and Maidstone East, between West Malling and East Malling (minibus), and between Maidstone East and Ashford International.
