A full closure of the QEII Bridge is scheduled this weekend, along with a series of planned tunnel closures.

Nightly closures of the West Tunnel will be on Friday night, and a full closure of the QEII Bridge is scheduled on Saturday, September 14 from 10pm to 5am on Sunday, September 15.

Drivers should anticipate diversions via National Highways roads and plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays   The Dartford Crossing, previously known as the Dartford Tunnel until 1991, is a major road crossing over the River Thames in England.

It connects Dartford in Kent (south) to Thurrock in Essex (north) via the A282 road.
