A Bromley pub is currently closed as it undergoes a six-figure renovation.
The Bricklayers Arms has received a £330,000 investment so that it can be transformed, while still retaining its character and original features.
Based in Masons Hill, the “traditional” town centre pub is known to many as “The Bricks”.
The pub closed its doors for the refurbishment on August 19 and will reopen on September 21.
Pub leaders plan to introduce a “stylish and contemporary feel” as the spot will be redecorated throughout with new furniture, décor and lighting.
The “spacious” courtyard is set to be transformed with a new “bespoke swing sign”, new furniture, outdoor pub games and colourful planters.
With the pub’s physical transformation there is also a new menu being brought to the pub with a selection of “traditional pub classics with a twist”.
It will also continue to service a wide range of Shepherd Neame’s award-winning ales and lagers alongside wines and spirits.
