The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Wednesday, September 4, 2024:
ANTON TUITT, 29, of Kingsdale Road in Plumstead, admitted assaulting a man by beating. Tuitt was given an 18-month community order including 130 hours unpaid work to reflect the context of domestic violence.
SIMRANPREET SINGH, 30, of no fixed address in Bexleyheath, admitted drink driving a minibus on January 31 on Little Heath Road, assaulting a police officer and a public order offence. Singh was given a 12-month community order including a 20 month driving ban.
YUSUF ELWAHABI, 25, convicted of possessing indecent pseudo-photographs of children. Elwahabi was granted bail until sentencing.
MATHEW WELLS, 53, of Great Guildford Street in Southwark, admitted harassing a woman with phone calls and texts, in breach of a restraining order made in October 2023. Wells was jailed for two months and the restraining order was extended to 2028.
