Two men have been charged after a police chase on the A2 near Gravesend.
On August 27, 2024, a resident in Snodland reported a break-in and the theft of his Mercedes, which had been stolen using keys taken from his home.
Around 5.20am that day, police in an unmarked car spotted the stolen Mercedes on the A2.
Police tried to pull it over with blue lights and sirens, but the car sped off towards London, allegedly “driven dangerously”.
Officers eventually stopped the car and arrested two men with the help of a police dog.
Kion Carter-Adams, from Leytonstone, and Joel Adekunle, from South Woodford, both 20, have been charged with burglary and theft.
Carter-Adams also faces a charge of dangerous driving.
The men appeared in Medway Magistrates’ Court on August 28 and have been remanded for a future hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.
