A Metropolitan Police officer has appeared in court charged with child abuse dating back to the 1980s.
Pc Anthony Rowley, of Latona Road, Southwark, appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday.
The 51-year-old works in the force’s South Area Command.
He appeared in court wearing a blue shirt, blue jacket, and no tie.
He denied 10 counts of indecent assault of a child, and four counts of indecency with a child, between January 12 1988 and January 11 1989.
Pc Rowley will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on May 18, 2026 for trial.
