The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Tuesday, August 20, 2024:
JONATHON TIMPSON, 31, of no fixed abode in Bromley, admitted a racially aggravated public order offence in Greenwich on July 12 and vehicle interference on a BMW in Bromley on August 1. Timpson was jailed for eight weeks.
ASHAN FERNANDO, 45, of Hargood Road in Kidbrooke, admitted a domestic assault on a woman in Greenwich in July. Fernando was given a 24 week sentence suspended for 18 months.
JANIS RASCEVSKAS, 58, of Sunnydale Road in Eltham, admitted drink driving on Lee High Road on July 21. Rascevskas was disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £200.
STEPHEN HARRISON, 35, of no fixed abode in Bromley, admitted stealing £110 of wine from Co-op in Orpington on Sunday (August 18). Harrison was jailed for seven days due to his record of previous offending.
A 17-YEAR-OLD from Erith admitted possessing a hunting knife at Peckham Rye station on a date in July. He was sentenced to a youth rehabilitation order including electronically monitored curfew.
